Business Description:

Översättarcentrum is a membership organization for literary translators and one of the so-called center formations. Our main task is to mediate assignments to our members, organize seminars and other events related to translation, and inform about the profession of translation. We also publish the journal Med andra ord, run the school project Världens läsare!, and produce the podcast Rum för översättning.

Job Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities include, among other things:

- Development of the organization, both within the industry and financially, in collaboration with the board and staff

- Ongoing contact with the board

- Personnel responsibility

- Financial responsibility, including applications for operational funds and reporting

- Development of contacts with the publishing industry

- Development of regional operations

Education/Experience:

We are looking for a person who has experience with similar tasks, preferably within the publishing or translation industry. It is important that you have good planning skills, are structured and self-driven. As a person, you should be flexible, responsive, and accustomed to collaborating. You should also have good stylistic ability. It is important that you have experience with budget work and financial administration, preferably in Fortnox.
